Easy to set up and true to dimensions in the specs. The description states "medium firmness" but I would say it's firm. The removable zipper cover is well made and makes cleaning convenient. I'm using it in my office/guest room so it won't be used frequently. I would not want to sleep in it daily because I prefer a softer mattress. However, it fits my needs perfectly and is a great value.

WARNING: Allergic Reaction!!! I let the bed air out as recommended and every night since sleeping on it I have broke out in the itchiest hives! It took me a few days to figure out it was the bed! I don't know what chemicals inside is causing the reaction but I'm really sad I can't sleep on it. I just want everyone to be warned of the possibility of an allergic reaction because I don't know if I'll be able to be a refund or exchange on the mattress and that *** majorly to pay $$$+ dollars for something you can't even sleep on.

Firmer than I expected The description notes that the firmness level varies by product, so don't be surprised if this "medium" mattress is firmer than what you expect. Mine is, which has taken some adjustment, but I'm overall very pleased with it. It arrived in no time at all, was a great price, and although stiffer than my last mattress, nothing beats a memory foam without those pressure points!

Exactly what I expected The descriptions is right on. And the majority of the reviews were accurate. Came all rolled up in a box. I opened it in the guest room and left it for 3 days. When I came back there was no smell and puffed up to its size. My 3 yr old uses this so ij can't vouch for the extended comfort, but he sleeps great on it and it's pretty comfy for the hour a day I'm on it. It is pretty firm (I'd say7 out of 10) but it doesn't seem to bother him.

Yes, it would be OK to keep in the Box for a month before using it. We purchased ours a couple months before actually unboxing the item. Give it some time for the mattress to air out.. I would say 48 hrs before using it. Everyone loved the mattress because it was firm yet soft. Would purchase again.

I opened immedietaly, but logically mattress was manufactured in China and we don't know how long was in the box before they shipped to US and also it was in storage facility in US again we don't know for how long before you bought it. I think you are save. Enjoy!

Not sure what you mean by collapsible but keep this in mind: this mattress is designed to LAY FLAT on a wooden or steel or slatted platform base. It can also be used on top of a standard box spring. This mattress is NOT DESIGNED TO BE FOLDED INTO A SLEEP SOFA AND MAY BE TOO THICK TO COLLAPSE UNDER A TRUNDLE BED. Great Offer Stock sells memory foam mattresses that are designed for sofa beds and trundle beds, as I recall.

The FR exterior zipper cover is removable, however, I do not recommend removing it and would only do so for extraordinary circumstances. You don't want to do anything that would impair the original integrity of the mattress. I purchased a great 100% cotton mattress cover for mine. It sleeps very well.

Hello! It really depends on the size of the daybed, what size mattress it accommodates. If the daybed can accommodate a queen sized mattress without having to fold it up, or manipulate it in any unusual way than this mattress should be fine. We have used the mattress with and without a box spring and it is great either way. It has a a significant odor upon receiving and opening it. I was not pleased as I purchased this mattress specifically to avoid that with my allergy sensitive one year old son. We aired the mattress out and let it fluff up for the recommended amount of time and when it was done, the smell had significantly decreased. It is a very comfortable mattress!!

This mattress was purchased to use in a Murphy bed; that's essentially a solid wood base. This mattress proved to be thick enough to be comfortable on it on the firm side, our preference. It fluffed quickly enough with no unpleasant odor.
